TIPS
FOR ENERGY
CLEANSING YOUR HOME OR OFFICE
I’m
sure you’ve noticed that
when you walk into any room or environment, it has a feeling,
a vibe to it. Sometimes a place feels really great and you feel
relieved and happier to come inside.
Other
times when you enter a place it feels stagnant, or stuck
or you can feel left over emotions and energies. Here are some
easy strategies on how to clear the energy and bring the space
back to it’s highest and best feeling.
Cleansing
starts with your intention so all good thoughts, and
love will help. Physically cleaning, doing the dishes, turning
on some music, and giving someone a hug are things we do intuitively.
Here are three other things you can easily do.
Smudging
The
Native American’s use a smudge stick, a handful
of cedar, sage or sweet grass bundled together with a string.
You light the bundle, set your positive intention to clear the
energy and move through the room. Moving through the room in a
counter clockwise direction will help to clear the energy quickly.
Once you have finished clearing, move in a clockwise direction
to infuse your good energy and thoughts into the area. Using the
clockwise and counter clockwise movement makes it easier to do
the energy cleansing and revitalizing quickly.
You
also purchase a small package of self-igniting charcoal.
This is used to burn loose cedar, sage and sweet grass. You light
the charcoal, place it in a seashell (abalone works well) and
sprinkle bits of the herbs on the charcoal. It will burn by itself.
Then you can walk the herbs around the room holding the shell.
It’s
good to address the four directions, east, south, west and north.
And then remember to acknowledge above and below, heaven and earth,
seen and unseen beings and blessings. I like to acknowledge and
thank spirit and nature for helping my home feel so good and showing
me what else I can do to clear the air.
Remember
we are energy. We imprint our energy wherever we go.
The better you feel, the more positive you are, the better the
energy you carry.
Flower
Essences
There are many flower essences available on the
market today or you can make your own. Essences are easy to make.
They are made by infusing the flowers of a plant in water and
soaking them over time. Making essences is another article, and
if you are interested, email me and let me know, and I’ll
write that one. I’ll talk about some readily available commercial
essences for this purpose.
Purchase
any essences and put about 7 drops of any or all a spray
bottle. If you like scent you can add some essential oils are
well.
-
Arnica for clearing trauma and grounding
-
Walnut for protection and boundaries
-
Rescue Remedy for clearing trauma
-
Zinnia for lightness of being
-
Gulaga for breakthrough
-
Sand Dollar for telling the deepest truth
-
Abundance Essences
-
Or any other you love or to which you feel intuitively drawn
Mist
your essence spray into the room and notice the difference.
Remember to go counter clockwise first, then clockwise with your
good intentions.
Essential
Oils
Essential
oils or aromatherapy are the scent of a plant. You can
use any scent that you like or love. My favorites for this purpose
are lavender, rose, mint and orange.
These
lovely oils not only smell great, they also carry the
essential quality called the signature of the plant. The signature
is available in both the oil and essence.
Put
about 7 drops of Essential Oil in water or with your
essences. This is great to keep in the bathroom.
Happy
Clearing.
